Vitamin C Ascorbate

Scientists have demonstrated that vitamin C is a potent antioxidant. Vitamin C ascorbate is also a bactericidal, virucidal and detoxifying agent. It participates in almost all of the chemical reactions that take place in the body, and is essential to many of them. Often, vitamin C comes in the form of ascorbic acid, which is highly acidic and can cause heartburn, flatulence, diarrhea, and excess urination, resulting in the loss of minerals. C Max with Ester C, a vitamin C ascorbate, is a high-powered vitamin C mineral ascorbate that can be taken in mega dosages without irritation. It is non-acidic, has no adverse side effects, and has countless advantages over ascorbic acid.

Vitamin C has been shown to aid in the conversion of cholesterol into bile for the digestion of food, disperses cholesterol in the blood stream and helps prevent formation of plaques in arteries and veins.
